The SYS(3099) doesn't turn anything off but returns the current setting. Anyway, for readability is better to use SET ENGINEBEHAVIOR.
>I have an interesting situation where I use SYS(3099, 70) before a SELECT statement and SYS(3099) to turn it off after.

>However, it seems that the SYS(3099) does not really turn it off, because if I eliminate that statement, the application crashes in a later SELECT statement. (sinced I never turned it on, SYS(3099, 70) in the first place.
