I have a BS in CS and MS in MIS.
I think MS in MIS is a good combination of business and IT.
I think MS/MIS and an MBA candidate take similar path. Accounting, Statistics and Finance. MIS concentrate on managing computer systems while MBA is more broad with its management courses, meaning more accounting and more finance stuff, stuff I hate. :)
Anyway there is my two cents.
>I'm considering starting an MBA program. I have a BS in Computer Science
and I have always wanted to go back and get my Masters.
>The question is, as a programmer, does this overqualify me? While I might
not turn down a management position, I like being a programmer.
>I would be interested in knowing the diversity in education of the people
who frquent this site, as well as any opinions.
