I work with credit cards. There is no way other than processing the card to validate the CVV2 (number on the back of the card). Doing so otherwise would compromise the credit card companies' security. Even if you found the algorithm for CVV2, you would most likely be in jeopardy legally. So please, do not even try it. The only validation you can do on the date is to check that it has not yet expired, which is easy enough.
