Craig Boyd has put an Awesome sample of using DotNet to create an Activex control that can be placed on a VFP form.

http://www.sweetpotatosoftware.com/SPSBlog/PermaLink,guid,3dd24f92-a52c-4bb0-8121-c2e6e2cc4f93.aspx

However I am unable to get this to work. I have run Regasm to register the Activex DLL:

C:\Documents and Settings\bbout>C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Re
gAsm.exe C:\DotNetControl\bin\Release\DotNetControl.dll

Microsoft (R) .NET Framework Assembly Registration Utility 2.0.50727.42
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation 1998-2004. All rights reserved.

Types registered successfully

However I still cannot open the sample form in VFP9 - OLE Error.Class not Registered.

Neither can I drop the activex control on a new form:

OleError 0x80070002. System cannot find the file specified.

Which file? I don't know. I have maintained the directory stru exactly as he has done.

Any ideas about this. I am unfamiliar with .NET

TIA

Bernard
