I also think it is a little too young. My kids each have a Leapster (it is a device with a touch screen and navigation buttons), but the nice thing is that only educational "games" are available (spelling, math, reading, logical puzzles). My kids are only 3 and 4 so this game might be too "childish" for a 6 y/o.
