after i finish my current degree i am looking at doing an MBA but i will specialise it towards the IT and business side of things. I think that furthering your education is essential, both from a business/employment oportunities point of view and also from a personal point of view. from what i hear the MBA is a lot of work so just make sure that you want to do it. as far as averages of computer programmers goes i presume that almost everyone here has a degree of some form.
