If you're going to print a lot of labels at one time, you'll be a lot better off going with the scripting language that this printer understands. The windows driver is Very slow.
The approach I took was to write to a text file with the appropriate script and then sent this file to the port where the printer is attached. I didn't even cared to check the performance increase, it was very obvious.HTH
