Consistancy of user interface in your application is the key issue. There are a number of published frameworks for use in the GUI / OOP environment that VFP supports. The tab order objects on a page in a pageframe work as you have seen -- the pageframe ( or at least the active page ) participates as another object. The choice is yours, or more correctly that of the users as to what works best for you / them; however, whatever you decide, try to have a consistant look / feel to allow users to recognize patterns of usage. There is a saying in our community that Foxpro gives the programmer so many ways to do the same thing, that an external restraint ( Standards ) needs to be imposed so as to not confuse the user.
