>Help. I am an elementary school teacher and want to teach my very bright dyslexic 4th grade students how to use VFP. I want to learn how to make a very simple game for them to recreate and then later, let them create a game of their own. I am very confused. It was easy to install VFP. After that, I have been at a loss. Once the command box comes up, how do I figure out what words to choose? Where do I go look for the proper vocabulary? How did you learn it? Thanks for the help. Peggy

At Least Foxpro is getting back into the schools. It used to be in college's until MS decided that universities should avoid "tools" that did not require SQL Server.

Search the UT download area for "Blocks Game" and "VFPLife".

A guy in our VFP group "invented" a "cool" VFP crossword game with his daughter. His name is Scott. I get a link

I looked for messages with the COS() and ATAN() functions. Some of the membership will post a "fanciful" study that produces geometric animations - and some are very interesting - I I can locate - I will folow up - the one I remember beat was posted from someone in Australia or New Zealand.

Our FUG had a guy that wrote a Yathze game in VFP.

Also - you're in Dallas - you have a great VFP FUG in that town and a lot of good VFP developers - contact your VFP FUG for more guidance.

It might also be interesting to note that a non-microsoft version of xbase - (dBase V) was used to prototype the navstar systems that cars use today.
