>>>Help. I am an elementary school teacher and want to teach my very bright dyslexic 4th grade students how to use VFP. I want to learn how to make a very simple game for them to recreate and then later, let them create a game of their own. I am very confused. It was easy to install VFP. After that, I have been at a loss. Once the command box comes up, how do I figure out what words to choose? Where do I go look for the proper vocabulary? How did you learn it? Thanks for the help. Peggy

>Nonsense. Take no notice, Peggy.

>VFP is one of the most user-friendly languages/environments I've come across. Sure you're not confusing it with C?

Do you realize what you're saying, Terry? It's not merely Peggy who wants to learn vfp. She wants to teach it to kids in elementary school! First, her own level is still zero. Second, vfp is developed for professional software developers, not for teaching young kids the basic principles of programming a computer. Ergo, YOU are the one who's saying nonsense here! Do not mislead Peggy! Tell her the truth about what vfp really is. She can't afford to waste her precious time on a product that will never serve her well in teaching those kids computer programming.
