Let me clarify, that the problem is that certain lines of text are misaligned vertically, not all. So it's not a matter of just shifting the whole form up or down.

E.g I may have a box around .25" high with a heading centred vertically within it. Part of the heading is bold, and part is not.

On an alternate printer, the bold part of the heading prints a few hundreths of an inch too low and no longer is centred within the box and does not line up with the non-bold text.

Now there is a certain pattern I think, so in theory it might be that all Bold Arial 10 pt text needs to move up 3/100" for some printers. So perhaps it could be automated, but this is totally bizzare.

A customer that only has one printer could get a custom generated form for his printer, but what about those who have multiple printer with different models. Some of my end users send reports to different locations within the company.

If almost sems that you have to generate a variety of alternate .frx forms, and at run time recognize whihc model printer is being used and then choose the correct report. There has to be a better way.
