Matt,

Your RI rules should prevent the employee from being deleted since their key was used in a foreign table. You should add a flag to the table indicating they are no longer employed. Then in the cbo add a \ in front of their name it'll prevent them from being selectable for new POs.

When entering a Purhase Order, the data entry person will select the correct purchaser from the list. A logical field in the employee.dbf tables determines who shows up in the list.

However, some older PO's were ordered by employees who are no longer here, and therefore their names and employee numbers are not in the dropdown listbox, so the dropdown does not display any info and you cannot tell who ordered the material.
