It was one of two courses I had difficulty with in college. I took a lot of English and Literature courses in college when I wanted an easy A and then along came Greek Literature but I think it was called Greek Civilization studies or something similar. I found it very interesting, but I just couldn't wrap my head around it all so I finally made visual charts and used memorization to get through the course!

>You remember a lot more mythology than I do! I was lucky if I could keep the Greek and Roman names of the gods straight. (Zeus just hurled another thunderbolt, no, wait, it was Thor...). For some reason I do remember that my two favorite mythological characters were Tiresias and Procrustes.

>>This is interesting, because I recall that Morpheus was the son of Hypnos the god of sleep and Morpheus was the god of dreams. Orpheus was the son of Apollo and Calliope, a musician, and married to Eurydice.

>>>>Morpheus: son of Hypnos, is the god of sleep/dreams. So the expression must refer to Morpheus not Orpheus( &Eurydice).

>>>Right and that was exactly my point, which I now proved with links with Terry's help. However, he replied with contr (? spell)-links from well-known Spanish poets.
