You can do it so that the user does not even know anything different is happening. Cathy's article uses GhostScript to create the PDF in the background. How did you create the PDFs?

>Funny you mention that, I tried creating PDF's and they look even worse than any of the actaull printer outputs. Anyway, for this particular application, it would be cumbersome for the end users. Most of them are not very computer literate, and can't deall with anything the slight but "not normal".
