Start a Remote VFP program
Environment versions
Network:
Windows 2000 Server
Can a program (or just a BAT file) on my local workstation start a program (Or Bat file) on a remote workstation (remote station is mapped as a drive on my workstation)?
I mean with the remote program running on the remote workstation and NOT on my workstation.
Naturally I could use something like PC Anywhere, but I am trying to automate a process and the program on the remote machine needs to run on that machine, but there will not be anyone there to start it at that time.
It is not a job that I can just schedule on the remote machine; it is a VFP program that needs to be started by a program (or BAT file) from my local workstation.
I could even use a BAT file on the remote machine to start my VFp program, but how do I start the remote Bat file from a local bat fie?
Any thoughts?
