I would like to create a simple VFP program that acts like a service, i.e., loads into memory but does not show any visible sign that it is loaded on the TaskBar. It would be nice if I could see an icon in the 'systray' showing that the program is loaded but that's not the most important thing. The main thing I want to accomplishs is figuring out how to "hide" a running application from the TaskBar.

BTW .. I've played around the the 'systray' VCX and got it to work with a normal application (i.e., APP running with VFP) but I couldn't get it to work once the program was compiled into an EXE. Any ideas?

BTW2 ... the program will monitor things like when a text file arrive in a folder and kick off a program to import and process the text file. Likewise, I need it to launch FTP process several times a day.

If anyone one has already written such a utility in VFP and is willing to share it, I'd love to "not reinvent the wheel."
