>Only 6 months til training camp! Yeah I know, but that's why they call us "fans" ain't it?<g>

>After some great WC and divisional rounds, the conference title games sucked. I could have had three quality Sunday naps instead of watching those horror flicks.

>I don't know what was worse in the early game - Denver's inability to stop the Steelers, or the announcers constantly berating Jake Plummer with those incessant "he was eventually gonna lose a game for them". It wasn't all Plummer's fault.

>But at least Denver got smoked - I hate the Broncos. The Chiefs beat them late in the year, and they only got beyond NE thanks to some favorable officiating. (How's that for fighting words!) ;)

>As for the 2nd game....Carolina clearly suffered from lack of a runinng game. It wasn't even as close as the final score...Carolina looked horrible out there, on both sides of the ball.

Delhomme was throwing crap the whole game and the odd pass that actually was on the money was dropped - probably from surprise. It was a near thing whether he'd throw more interceptions than completions. To be fair, he had no front line, but the odd time they did give him any time to throw, he threw to Seattle.

Carolina's defense was ok though. The only times they had a problem were when Seattle ran the ball or threw it. Again, to be fair, they did fine waiting for the snap.

So I guess what it came down to was that Carolina had no offense nor any defense. Other than that, their uniforms looked ok.

>Yeah, I'm a bit ticked, because I've dropped to 6-4. Gonna have to think about my Super Bowl pick...I'm leaning towards Seattle.
