Strangely enough I just happened to catch American Idol yesterday, which was from Denver and they said next week is coming from Greensboro NC, so I may look out for that! :-).

Man there were some right wazzarks representing Colorado. I remember 2 of them saying:

(contestant) "Please, I need this. I've come so far to be here!"
(presenter) "Where've you come from?"
(contestant) "Denver"

The "entrepeneur" kid in the all-matching yellow ensemble was particularly sad (took him 5 minutes to remember and recite the motto of his own cleaning business - if he couldn't do it how could a customer remember?), as was his new mate, the "amateur inventor and entrepeneur". I ask you, a magnetic hovering drinks coaster for bars, where you had to be precise about how you placed the drink on it, for fear of it spilling. Must be that altitude, oxygen deprivation to the brain!

Sheesh!
