An FYI...

We had a codecamp in LA this weekend. One of the presentations I went to was on Delegates/Events. The example was a bunch of little forms that were listening for an event on the main form. The presenter added a try, catch to show what would happen to all the forms in the listening chain when he forced an error.

It was very dramatic to see how slow all the forms now painted due to the exception being raised.

Just to reinforce your comment last week about exceptions being expensive.

>That doesn't look too bad, Einar. My problem was trying to figure out how to bind to a DataTable instead of a property.

I have in the past created a property in my usercontrol (containing a number of radio), the set would check one of the radiobuttons and the get would return a value related to the checked radiobutton. Then I would have a similar (same type) property in my biz object. Then I would do the following to databind the usercontrol:
>>>>

The usercontrol also has a method called DataBind where I add a databinding between each of the radiobuttons and the appropriate object property. I called the DataBind method from the form's load event. I guess I expected it to work, but I wasn't surprised when it didnt work.
