It does make sense to most sentient people, Mike.
The legal system is no where near in jeopardy because of terrorists. It finds itself assaulted by those purportedly protecting the people from terrorists.
If it makes such good sense why was it that President Bush asked the story to be suppressed for more than a year, and why was it only after it went public - over a year after he first knew there was a leaker - that an investigation to find the leaker was started????

The founding fathers would have called the position "dictator" if they wanted it to operate as you seem to believe it should.
