I was trying to figure out how to get the list of files in the Exporing (not Explorer) window into a text file, then it occurred to me that all I needed to do was go out to DOS, and do a DIR piped to a filename. It worked great. Funny how some things are still easier in that old command-line environment. But...

I still would like to know if there is a way to do this in W2K and/or XP.
