I'm working with Oracle as a backend and cursor adapters. The cursors have automatic updates (SendUpdates=.T.). I have sequences in the oracle database for the key fields so when a record is inserted the key field is generated automatically.

Well, the problem is that first, when I insert a record in the cursor I have to move the pointer for the key field to be generated by oracle.

Then when I position the pointer again over the created record the key field (user_id) show no data. I've tried REFRESH, RecordRefresh() method and CURVAL() with no success.

Does anyone have any idea how to obtain the key field data for the recently created record?
