yes, I can subclass it, but I would have thought that it works "out of the box" as no mention is made of problems running the report. I have actually got it working by putting the code to create the cursor in the report's Init() and setting the report to use a private datasession. But I also found I had to save the calling form's datasession and reset it after calling the runreport().
So I think I am still probably doing something wrong.
