Just try to do some barbecue on your porch, the house is in a forest, it's a nice October day, and every other house has someone fending off the leaves and making incredible noise. They probably like it that they've come to live in a forest, but don't like it when the forest returns the courtesy. When they finish, the others fill in. Then someone pulls up a chainsaw and cuts some logs for the fireplace.

By the time they are done, you've already eaten all the ćevapčići and ražnjići that you could, and really don't feel like waiting for the mosquitos :).
