I've had a go at inserting in one of my views and now I've got stuck with "Cannot insert an empty row from a view into its base tables" error message. I can't proceed or close the view or backtrack without this damn message, and can't crash out of VFP. Can't do ANYTHING! :-(

Oh yes you can. You can tablerevert() the view.
