The "figure out which of these five doesn't belong with the other four" are notoriously ambiguous. I've seen some examples where any of the five would stand out in a way - and which one did the author of the test have in mind?

I've been to one of those when I applied to a TV quiz back in '84 - and this was a serious quiz, no trivia. I felt like I cheated on the test, because there were so many things in it which were just disguised algebra or geometry or just logic. Since I was already teaching at the time, I figure I got my score some good 20% up by simply being asked to do my job :).
