In the end, yes we got rid of it. It had to do with a bug in VFP8SP1 and VFP9 (without SP), where internal buffers got corrupted in transactions.

The solution Microsoft gave us, was to put SYS(1104) at least before the transaction starts.
So we put a few sys(1104) in our framework and the system is behaving quit nicely. I have not seen a lot of C5 since then.
