Hi Koos,
Continuosly developing skills is our way life, so no harm there.
But before making such crucial decision, as it is adopting completely new platform, (NET or what ever else) you should do very serious
prototype development on TEST project that mimicks type of projects that you do or plan to do, and then if all YOUR requirements are meet, and all common tasks are satisfactoy done (eg. data handling) - then you are ok to move.(Gradualy)
Don't move just because M$ is pressing you there, and some VFP/NET MVPs tells you that you gonna be ok in NET.
You might be ok I am not saying, but check it first :)
Play it safe.

>Over the last years we created our own VFP framework in our shop and use it to create all our apps. It includes many standard functions and modules for the users and for the developers and we, and our clients are very happy with it. Nevertheless it seems that we should look at the future to start this process all over again in another developers language. Can anybody give us advise what direction we should look?
