Thanks for the Filemon and PATH advice. Traced the issue back to two syntax errors in the PATH setting for Windows 2000. As it turns out, our IT dept botched their Win2K build image and weren't too pleased when I pointed it out to them. Just surprised that other MS apps were running properly.
