i have had a look through the winsock help and online but i don't think that it will do what i need. when i get home i can connect to the internet by click on start-settings-network and dial up-"home internet connection" and what i need to do is connect using that connection from vfp. a lot of the resources that i have seen are low level and don't deal with actually making the connection which is what i need to to.
