Good for you! You say tghe serveuse wasn't able to see what was happening. Hasn't she a nose?
There's much debate in the UK parliament at tghe moment about making all public buildings (e.g. clubs, pubs, restaurants) smoke-free. It was suggested that there could be a "smoking area" in a building. I was ammused to hear one comment that that was like having a p*ssing corner in a swimming pool :-)

>My wife (Gwen) and a few other people asked the guy (actually guys) to stop, and they didn't. These jerks actually had a little ashtray with them. There were open tables on both sides of the place, so I'm guessing they just wanted to irritate people. One of the guys made some kind of smart-ass remark after Gwen yelled at them. I had had a few beers (Gwen was driving), so I shouted an empty threat at them. To everyone's amazement, they put out their smokes and didn't say a word. Go figure.
