I think - No way.
Take a look at http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~TableCorruptionRepairTools

Recently moved from VFP 7 to VFP 9 . One customer is having a great deal of trouble with a DBF with a much used memo field. The app is running with TableValidate=0 to emulate VFP 7. The table will open in VFP 7, but there are 3 records that show as having memo content but when opened VFP 7 shows nothing. The same table opened in VFP 9 generates an error -TableName.fpt is missing or invalid- when these records are hit. This basically shuts the application down and may be causing terrrible crashes writing binary data all over the place. Is there any way to make VFP 9 act like VFP 7 in handling memo fields? Thanks!
