AFAIK, the hyperlink is meant for internet hyperlinking, not for sending e-mails.

There are several techniques for sending e-mail. Mine starts the client's own e-mail client and can automatically paste stuff in the various fields, but that's not done with the main text. The main text is put in the clipboard and must be CTRL+Ved by the user. That is done deliberately by me, but others have other solutions.
