I've got the thing Dick Clark used to advertise. It can recharge AA, AAA C etc. Nicad and regular. I don't find it recharges the regular as often or as fully as I'd like.
I've also got a few chargers for NiCad and NiMh and they work pretty well. The batteries are more expensive, but can recharge more often than the regular batteries.
