You have the named cursor set up as the source for your grid, but during the form's life you select data into this same-named cursor, right?
This has been likened to the grid "losing its mind" or, as I like to think of it, pulling the rug out from under it.
You need to programmatically set the grid's recordsource to the the cursor after it's been thus recreated.
You may have to set other things like the column widths, what fields go in what columns, no. of coulumns, etc. too.
I'd advise noting down these from your original props and prog'ly setting them.
