From your initial post, Tariq, it sounds like they did not delete entire rows, but just deleted data out of a certain field or fields, correct? If so, the suggestion by Jos will not work, but if they did indeed delete rows, then he has led you in the right direction there. Now, going back to if they deleted data out of fields, if there is no data back-up, or some kind of report holding a snapshot of that data, then it is indeed gone. The best thing you could possibly consider for the future is to have update triggers on your tables (database container required) that record changes into another table. This creates overhead processing in your application, but with end-users like that... priceless.
