That's what I was thinking,

So cursors don't behave like the USE dbfTemp IN 0 convention? They just stay in whatever workspace is active?

That would make sense and would explain what I'm seeing, but just seems a little sad for a cursor to require extra effort considering it's a temporary table anyway.
