The major difficulty with this situation is that the table has a primary key and is used in the dataenvironment of the main form of the app. In essense, this condition shuts the app down because reindexing will not recreate the primary key . I know there is a data issue and I am trying to find out how it happened but what I want is for this data issued to not shut the app down. I have submitted the table to microsoft for their evaluation. They seemed puzzled that it could be used, reindexed etc in 7 but not in 9.
