You point to Walter and me. We have met at various occasions and agree on many subjects. But yes, we are real representatives of what I propose to call the Dutch debate-culture: Even those who agree, do disagree. We always focus on the differences, until it gets out of hands. Then we focus on the agreed-upon arguments. In the mean time we had a wonderful 'fight' and finally we have the comforting feeling of peace.
Today I met one of my brothers. He emigrated to the US and is currently the manager of a plant in China. He has been on every continent except Africa (and Antarctica, ok). He reassured me that the Dutch indeed have an opinion about everything. :)
