>Is this an answer? I'm trying to find out what YOUR concept about eternity is. The best I can make of what you say is that it's hard to comprehend, yet already comprehended by me.
>Well, for me eternity is a very very very long, never ending, time. I imagine I'd get bored after a while.
>Does it also suggest that there was no beginning, implying that spirits have been around ever since ... since what?
>Aren't there any conditions that let a spirit really disappear, forever?
>
I'd agree with your assessment that 'eternity' is a very long - never ending time. You will not be bored. Either you will be enjoying your eternity - or - detesting it.
There was no beginning with God. However, all other spirits were created by Him - and - had a beginning - but will have no end.
I suppose if God willed, He could make a spirit disappear (using your term there - they really aren't visible in the first place - I'm presuming you mean that the spirit would no longer exist.)

>Why do you believe in a concept that you do not understand? Okay, although I do not understand each detail of my TV, I do believe in my TV indeed. But is it a valid metaphor? If you'd insist, I could gather a couple of technicians who could explain to us the working principles of a TV. But you can't gather such a group of people who can explain the working principles of communication in heaven without a body.
There are many things we all believe in that we cannot understand - women for one (just kidding...) I don't understand my emotions. I don't understand certain laws of nature. We all have to have faith in something. I choose to have faith in God and His word. You choose to have faith in man and his logic. I see no difference really.

>The same problem when reuniting with an earthly body:
>- Which natural laws will apply to those new bodies? No more diseases?
>- How will the spirits get in possession?
>- What will the earth gonna look like?
>- In what ways will those people (people?) be able to change their environment? Will the earth change in time?
>- Will accidents no longer happen? What happens when falling off a rock?
>- Will people also have free will in that new Heaven/Earth? What happens to those who do not want to worship on a certain day? On 10 days? From now on?
>- Is injustice no longer possible?
I can answer some of these - some I can't...
-There will be no more diseases.
-God will take care of uniting body with spirit.
-There are passages in the Bible that describe the new Heaven and the new Earth (If you're interested, I can do some research on that for you.)
-Everyone on the new Earth will want to and will worship God
-Injustice will no longer be possible.
I'm not an expert in the end times - so - please understand these are my opinions. I think they are Biblical (95% sure) - but - haven't spent the time on them to guarantee that they line up 100% w/the Bible.
