Greetings,

It appears that many of you are just too busy to put your 2 cents into this topic. Perhaps the rumors I'm hearing about the demise of the major VFP frameworks has more substance that even I could have imagined?

Just review what I hear about our VFP framework industry icons:

Visual MaxFrame - with Drew Speedie's untimely passing, what is the status? No word from his company and it's been almost 5 months?

Mere Mortals - I used this for a major POS application. But, I truly think Kevin McNeish is heading away from VFP and very much towards .NET.

VisualFox Extended - I haven't been keeping up with this product lately, but I'm hearing that things might not be so good there?

CodeMine - SQL Server seems to be getting a lot of attention for them lately. I like the look and feel of this product better than any other, but I have not seen VMF or VFE in action. Are they here to stay?

Visual ProMatrix - seems to be doing ok, but I understand it's not as flexible as some of the others?

Thought I'd try to raise some eyebrows a little and perhaps get some serious framework users who have lifetime commitments to their frameworks to response.

With all that is going on, I am serious considering writing my own framework. I've got my "Build your own Visual FoxPro Framework" book right here in my hands...light reading for the next month or so!

Let me know what you think if you have time...thanks!
