>>fwiw I have been messing around with Kerio PF today and imo I think its very good. For me the interface is more intuitive, I can find things I need faster, and I like the whole look and feel of it. It shows actively communicating apps, what protocals being used, what bandwidth usage, a simpler list of apps that have tried to access the network, and various other things. I must say I'm impressed with it and will switch to using it myself.

>Can't speak to Kerio, but when I was replacing the virus called McAffee with AVG I noticed they also have a firewall product. (You can get a reasonably priced bundle of the two.) I've been EXTREMELY pleased with it.
lol! I prefer a defence in depth approach - hardware firewall, Symantec Enterprise AV on the server with BlackICE for IPS, AVG for AV plus some other make of Personal Firewall for IPS on the workstation. Silver foil hat to stop alien mind control :) What a world we live in ... <g>
