Unless printer has built-in capability to print current time, ther's nothin you can do in your scenario. The only workaround I see, is to move paus ebutton into your application and print labels one by one.

The user then presses the pause button and the next label is then printed, and the printer pauses again and so on... Using your solution, the time I will have will be the time that the VFP application reads the DBF and send the job to the printer, but not the time that the user unpause the printer.
