Someday when (if) we're all king of a grayish brown and speaking esperanto, the world may finally be a place where we can all get along.

So do I. That's why I added that caveat that it's not a place I'd really want to live. BUT, I don't see a world where everybody respects everyone else's differences coming along any time soon. In fact, while I'd find it a horribly depressing way to live, the only way I see such peaceful co-existence happening is through the total assimilation of all people.
