Alex. If you think in terms of what's fair and not fair in human term concept of Christian God doesn't make since.
To a Christian, grace and salvation is a free gift. You don't earn it. You don't do good deeds to earn it. It's free. All that is required is to be HUMBLE enough to confess your sins and accept the gift. But obviously this is not so easy for some.
