I am going to disagree to an extent. I found that I would create the basic form (for example) using the wizard and then customize it. Actually it is a class that is created and you drop on business classes etc. Very similar to working with well designed classes in vanilla VFP. You setup your different levels (tiers) to begin with (data, business, etc) and then they can be incorporated in many ways. You can work within or outside of the wizard. I really think if you went through the tutorial you would be surprised. Contact Mike or Toni and explain to them your requirements and they can better tell you whether or not they VFE will suit your purposes. They are honest and won't intentially sell their product to you if it won't suit your needs.

>>I have used VFE for numerous government applications in the past. My current employer does not use a framework, so we program in vanilla VFP9 and use 3rd party tools like Stonefield Database Toolkit, Gnostice PDF Toolkit, etc. I really enjoyed the framework though and it uses a true ntier approach. It is easily customizable. The support from the forum is fantastic as well. I highly recommend it. Contact F1 Technologies for more information - speak with Mike or Toni Feltmen. There is also book on its use with exercises and they provided classes.

>Have you found that you mostly use the wizards, etc. when you work in VFE or do you do things manually (or more precisely, YOUR WAY)? The reason I ask is because the only negative feedback I've received about VFE is that you must use the tool as intended and it was not as customizable as some other frameworks. Do you find that to be true or do you see it differently?
