Yes - sorry I was confusing there...

I do believe that God is three persons in one. I guess when I say that we must trust in Jesus alone, I mean that He is the one who actually came to Earth in bodily form and made the sacrifice. He was sent by the Father and was aided by the Holy Spirit. God (the triune God) would be the one in whom we should place our trust. I just expressed that incorrectly. Sorry about that...
