I get all of this except for the ftp with my road runner account. Most broadband services offer it as a part of the package. My daughter taught herself how to create web pages in the 4th grade so I think you can manage fine. There is a ton of free information out there and once you have the domain you can get started. I really recommend Front Page Express to get yourself started and you can find plenty of other freebie stuff out there including html and xml tutorials. I brought my daughter to work with me on the 'Bring Your Daughter to Work' day and of course emergencies at work happened so I couldn't spend anytime with her. To keep her busy I did a quick search and let her do the tutorials on a computer that had an internet connection external from the network (we have some systems on dsl and cablemodem for testing purposes to mimic our customers configurations). She had 3 websites set up that day. When I got home I immediately installed eblaster on her computer. :o)
