>Wow, a free spot is now open on the Fox team. Maybe, I should apply for the job <g>. Congrats on the new role and I'm sure you'll be using VFP frequently to prototype much of the new API work since we all know which product is used most frequently at MSFT for application prototyping. See you in Maui hopefully...RB

Hey Randy. Anytime there is a COM client function for some API, you know you'll find me in VFP doing some prototyping. And can host IE as a web browser control in VFP to access the DHTML and scripting DOM for testing.

I know I'll be learning more about AJAX and that it will play a role in development using Windows Live APIs and other online services for developers. I talked to Rick Strahl and he said he will be at home in Maui while you are there. Now I need to talk my new manager into letting me go to Maui to spend some time with Rick to find out what cool stuff he has been doing with AJAX. :) He spoke at LA Code Camp and is speaking at DevTeach and ASP.NET DevConnections on AJAX). I'll keep you posted on making it to Maui next month or later this year, and I still need to find out what kind of dungeon office Rick works in at home (in the dark, from his web site photos) and to see him wind surf with the pros.

One more small note Randy that I'd like others to know about. Thanks for convincing me to move from L.A. to Seattle at the end of 1995 ten years ago to join the VFP team and work for you on the VFP team. My best times working with VFP is with you from VFP 3.0 to 9.0. You've been my closed friend since then, and I;m reminded how many friends I've made over the years in the FoxPro community in person and online world-wide.
