>It's not enough to just SET TALK ON. You also have to remember to reset SET TALK to the previous value. The code I showed remembers the original values of several things, makes a hidden window to hide the textual output, allowing just the progress bar to show. You then run your query and can reset/undo all the stuff, just by releasing the object.
